Is this the same as an HPI check?

But we go further — we cross-examine the seller's advert against official records to spot lies, analyse the full MOT history for hidden patterns, and give you a word-for-word negotiation script built from everything we find. How does the negotiation script work?

Does it work for any UK car?

Yes — any car on UK plates with a DVLA record. Older vehicles or those with limited MOT history will have some sections marked as unverifiable, which we'll flag clearly so you know exactly what could and couldn't be checked.

Why isn't this free?

Accepted Answer

Because the data isn't free. Every report we run makes real-time paid calls to the DVLA, DVSA, the national finance register, the stolen vehicle database, and the write-off register — then runs AI analysis on top. Those costs exist whether we charge or not. At £14.99 we're passing most of that value straight to you.

Is my payment secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe, the same infrastructure used by Amazon, Google and millions of other businesses. We never see or store your card details.

What if I'm not happy with the report?
