  • Listing URL — optionally provided by you so we can cross-check the seller's advert.
  • Email address — collected via Stripe at checkout, used to send your report link.
  • Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • IP address and browser data — collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and performance purposes.

3. How we use your data

  • To generate and deliver your vehicle report.
  • To send you the report link by email.
  • To process your payment securely via Stripe.
  • We do not use your data for marketing or share it with third parties for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate this site:

  • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
  • Vehicle Data Global (VDGL) — DVLA, MOT history, finance and write-off data
  • Anthropic Claude API — AI analysis of vehicle data
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure
  • Neon — database hosting

Each provider processes only the data necessary to perform their function and operates under their own privacy policies.

5. Data retention

Report data (vehicle reg, findings, score) is stored in our database to allow you to re-access your report via the link. We retain this data for up to 90 days, after which it is deleted.
